What happens on the phone consultation?

So you filled out our online form and you have scheduled a phone consultation. What should you expect?

For starters, we don’t view these calls as “Sales” calls. Our only objective is to help you find the right path to getting your project done in a way that is comfortable for you. We know we are not the right fit for every project and not every project is the right fit for us. So want to find out just as much as you, if we can even help you.

One of our Project Managers will be giving you a call at the predetermined time that you selected or let them know what would work best for you. Prior to that time, the Project Manager (PM) will have reviewed your form responses, reviewed the pictures you sent, and any others they may have texted or emailed you for so they can be the best prepared for your specific project.

When they call they will start by introducing themselves and our company. They confirm with you that this has not become a bad time to discuss your project and then they will ask, “How are you hoping I can help you today?” Seems like a silly question right? Especially when you have given them all those pictures and filled out the form! We know. But we don’t like to assume anything, maybe between the time you sent those pictures and filled out the form you have changed your mind or the reason you reached out to us in the first place has gotten worse! So that is why we ask.

We will actually be asking a lot of questions. Some of the questions you may not think are really relevant or related to the project, but we promise, every question we ask is to make sure we understand completely why it is are looking to do this project, what your current status is, what you’re hoping will be achieved when we are done with the project, what your timeline is, how you’ll know you’ve picked the right contractor (even if it isn’t us). This process takes between 15 and 20 minutes.

Once we have a better understanding of what you are looking to achieve by completing your project, and we have established that we can get the project done in the time frame you’re looking to achieve it in, our PM will prepare to give you an estimate to complete your project. This estimate will be a broad range ballpark, we are after all only going off the pictures you sent. How is this possible? Well, we have been doing this for several years and we have gotten very good at knowing what project investments tend to be. That being said, our PM will ask you if you decide to move forward, if for any reason when you meet with our PM/Designer and if you’re dreaming really big, or anything in the actual space might push the price up to or even over the higher end number, if you’d be comfortable with them calling a Time Out to discuss this? Once our PM gives you the estimated bracket and you decide if you wish to move forward with project you have described or if there are changes to the scope of the project that need to be made, our PM will offer to either send over an agreement with a payment link to get started on the project or if you feel that either a site survey or a design is in order to firm up the investment amount they will share with you how that process is started.

The total time for this call will be between 20 to 30 minutes. We look forward to discussing your project with you!
